Jason Clouet is the Vice President of Bayview PACE and leads the Western U.S. Originations. Bayview PACE works with property owners and developers to help lower their overall cost of construction financing. Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) offering provides low-cost, long-term financing for new and existing commercial properties.
He has a broad background encompassing over 25 years in CRE. He has been involved in excess of $1B of real estate transactions driving value for investors throughout his career.
Jason’s professional career started in hospitality operations with American Property Management Corporation, beginning with onsite property management leading to multi-property oversite as VP of Operations. Following that, he joined Allegiance Realty to form Allegiance Hospitality to focus on opportunistic hotel acquisitions, as President, where he oversaw acquisition, operation, renovation, financing, and disposition activities. Jason then worked in the finance industry with Neptune Hospitality Advisors where he led the originations, marketing and structuring of complex debt and equity placements.

Matt Peeler

Matt Peeler is currently Managing Director of USDA & Tribal Lending for Pathward, an FDIC-insured financial institution headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD.
Matt has spent more than a decade of his career as a government guaranteed lender, having personally originated or supported more than $500 million in total loan originations nationwide, including USDA, SBA, and conventional extensions of credit. Matt also has several years of experience combining USDA senior debt and C-PACE in the capital stack.
Matt’s commercial lending background is diverse, having worked as a commercial credit analyst, underwriter, lender, and director for several top producing financial institutions throughout his career.
Matt was also integral in helping achieve several key milestones for prior banking institutions, including becoming the #1 SBA 7(a) and USDA lender in the country in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
