Instead of renting wholesale blocks of space, the real estate as a service model creates a space that offers amenities and services that keep users coming back. In this module, students will learn how to create personas of their target audience, develop a high-level branding plan for their space, and prepare to market a real estate as a service space using best practices. Additionally, students will learn how to analyze and adapt their current marketing tactics to their target audience, as well as analyze and offer solutions to common mistakes relating to marketing.

Real estate as a service involves financial decisions and documentation that may not be seen in traditional real estate. This module explores the various ways to increase revenue and profits, select membership plans appropriate for the space, decide the method of implementing real estate as a service and the best model to use based on the situation and market. Additionally, students will learn about additional financial considerations to explore when creating a real estate as a service space, the major performance indicators that are essential for tracking success and areas of improvement, differentiating between traditional leases and license agreements, and working with lawyers on major inclusions and considerations for real estate as a service license agreements.
